My name is Andrew Van Le.
I’m in love with problem solving and the concept of change.
Born in Portland, Oregon to immigrant parents, I knew at a young age that I was different than just about everyone around me. Growing up introverted, I gravitated towards the arts. It started with drawing. Then music, then filmmaking, then design and photography, then writing—essentially storytelling through different mediums—it all gave me an ability to connect with others creatively. The root of all storytelling is connection, and the root of all connection is understanding. Bridging that gap of understanding creates magic.
My perception of art is that it's really the ultimate self-expression from a creative individual. For me as a designer, it is not the ultimate goal to become self-expressive. The end goal is to solve a problem for someone else. And hopefully it looks great...
